The Western Exhibitions Drawing Biennial

January 8, 2021 - February 20, 2021

A salon-style celebration of works on paper celebrating the gallery's commitment to drawing and works on paper.

I made this drawing specifically for the exhibition. It's a "reprise" of my earliest drawings, but this time in blue. Available now!

My monograph is now available EXCLUSIVELY on my website! This book starts with my earliest drawings and continues as my career evolves. Over 100 images and guilded-edged, this is an art book I hope you'll want to keep forever.

20+ year Retrospective at The Modern!

October 24, 2019

If you want a chance to see almost every drawing I've ever made, you'd better get to Fort Worth, Texas. WE, THE MASSES charts my career in drawing from as early as a Kindergarten drawing to now. This won't happen again any time soon. And trust me, it's worth it!

Shannen Doherty is my celebrity crush? Find out more here!

Billy Fong of Paper City interviewed me about all sorts of fun things. What's my happy place? What do I wear to bed? What's my dream concert? Is it really Bell Biv DeVoe? Is that girl really poison?

Robyn has two drawings up at Western Exhibitions in Chicago! The show is called "It's all there in black and white" and includes work by Jessica Campbell, Lilli Carré, Julia Schmitt Healy, Jessica Labatte, Rachel Niffenegger, Deb Sokolow & Orkideh Torabi. Robyn has one drawing up of a taco floating in heaven and another drawing of one of her sweatsuit guys dancing with a lion. Or are they trying to kill each other? Go find out!

September 11, 2017

Robyn’s hitting the road for the first leg of her nationwide book tour, and where better to go than Texas? She’ll be signing books at venues throughout the state, and will also be giving lectures on her work at universities and museums. Books will be available everywhere Robyn will be. So come on out, meet the artist and get your book signed!

Archon Projects is pleased to announce ROBYN O’NEIL: 20 Years of Drawings, the artist’s first major monograph. With almost 200 pages of her detailed drawings and a revealing essay by Alison de Lima Greene of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, this is the book you've been waiting for!

Fun Note: Robyn is making a bunch of small drawings and has asked the shipping team to place them inside books at random…so you might just get lucky and receive an original Robyn O’Neil drawing just for buying the book!

July 22, 2017

Robyn is in a group show at 101/Exhibit in Los Angeles. Curated by artist and designer Mark Murphy, "Figurative Futures aims to explore the mythology and evolution of figural art realized through a wide-ranging collection of inventive painting, sculpture, installation, jewelry, fiber arts, drawing and mixed media.” Don’t miss Robyn’s new drawing “George Michael Finds a Friend in Heaven!”

Robyn’s most recent solo exhibition “The Good Herd” at Susan Inglett Gallery got a Leonard Cohen-influenced review in Art F City this week.

"O’Neil’s anonymous figures and ominous symbolism have become strikingly timely, addressing the isolation many feel from their fellow Americans who voted an orange demagogue into office.” -Emily Colucci
