I’m happy to share that my 2022 canvas drawing Right and Left (after Winslow Homer) is currently on view at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio as part of the exhibition Untitled: 20 Years of Collecting Contemporary Art.
This large work is my contemporary response to Winslow Homer’s iconic 1909 painting of the same name. Where Homer depicted two ducks shot mid-flight, my version drifts into darker, more surreal territory — something that feels right at home in my world of graphite oceans and floating figures.
The exhibition celebrates two decades of the McNay’s thoughtful collecting of contemporary art and runs through the summer. If you’re in the San Antonio area before September 6, 2026, I highly recommend checking it out.
